Welcome! I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) and my goal is to support clients reach their goals and expand their potential in areas they want to experience growth. I work with adult clients (age 19+) from various backgrounds navigate issues related to mental health, personal concerns (ex. self-esteem, motivation, life transitions, school/work stress) as well as interpersonal concerns (ex. friendships and relationships). My hope is that we build a steady therapeutic relationship where you can find comfort in being vulnerable.
I practice from a Person Centred Therapy approach with the inclusion of other approaches when useful, ex. Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. I believe in working in collaboration with you towards your therapeutic goals. We all have our own battles, some feel easier to deal with than others but you shouldn't have to deal with them on your own. I'm here to help!
I believe the relationship you have with your counsellor should be filled with trust, reliability, comfort and warmth. I work alongside you to create a safe space for you to simply be yourself.
