As a seasoned Registered Clinical Social Worker I have had the privilege of walking beside many people looking for guidance, support, insight and tools. They may be struggling with relationships, trauma, health, addiction, grief or life transitions. I believe people are the experts of their own lived experience but often need compassion, insight and guidance in an effort to move through what they are faced with.

In creating a safe space we can then look at targeted interventions and approaches that address current coping in the context of the presenting issue. I endeavour to always be clear, honest and forthcoming with my thoughts, and feelings. I believe in using self in a way that creates a partnership in your healing journey. This authenticity promotes equality.

When it comes to suffering, shame often prevents people from getting the help they desire and need. Especially those who appear to be “functioning” on the outside. As a person and therapist with lived experience I will always do my part in providing a compassionate and safe space to explore emotions, thoughts, and solutions. I also offer weekends/evenings!
