About
I am a Registered Social Worker and hold a Bachelor of Education, Honours Bachelor of Social Work and a Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work. I embrace a holistic, client-centered approach to my work and understand that mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through adulthood. Over the past decade I have worked with individuals, couples and families in both community and hospital settings with a focus on addictions, anxiety, depression, family breakdown, trauma, and occupational burnout.
I bring a natural warmth and genuineness into my sessions and am known for my ability to establish therapeutic relationships built on trust, safety, and mutual respect. I focus on meeting the unique needs of each client by looking at the physical, emotional, spiritual, and environmental factors that may be impacting their mental health.
Life can be challenging, counselling doesn't have to be. The first stage of change begins by reaching out for support. I offer in-person, virtual, or phone counselling so that regardless of your location or counselling preference, I can support you.
