I strive to provide a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space for you to discuss and explore whatever thoughts and concerns you want to bring. By deepening your ability to be introspective and self-compassionate, we can explore possible negative thinking patterns or habits that may be interfering with your happiness or daily life. My style is warm, compassionate, empathetic, and collaborative, but also direct and solution-focused. I have many years of experience with children/youth, families, as well as adults.
I have a particular interest & expertise in working with trauma, interpersonal abuse, preventing sexually harmful behaviour, & a range of mental health concerns. My practice is informed by research, ongoing professional development, & training in TF-CBT, DBT, mindfulness, & more. I have learned ways to engage even the most reluctant people to promote change.
