This life is filled with challenge, heartbreak, confusion, overwhelm and un-nameable wounds, but there is also profound potential for meaningful connection, clarity and joy. Let’s work together to learn new ways of navigating life’s struggles and rediscover the magic of your existence. I am an EMDR-trained, trauma-responsive Relational therapist. As a Relational therapist, I understand that some of our most basic human needs are to belong, to be understood, to be valued & seen for who we are, and to be loved. When these needs are not met, we can experience a wide range of challenges in ourselves and in our relationships with others.
Our focus will be on building a strong and supportive therapeutic relationship so that you can explore and know yourself more fully, including who you are and want to be in relationship to others. We will work together to identify the relational roots of your strengths as well the roots of what troubles you so that we can untangle and tend towards growth.
None of us are capable of healing in isolation. We need other people, and we need to feel connected to the universe of things around us. We are hurt in relationship, and we heal in relationship. Through mutual understanding and awareness, we can make room for the change we hope for. I would be honoured to walk beside you on this journey.
