I've been a Psychotherapist and Trauma Specialist for at least 30 years and work for various companies & organizations along side my private practise. Since Covid, I offer phone and virtual sessions so help is easily accessible. I enjoy working with clients who are open and willing to make positive changes in their lives. Whether you feel anxious, stuck, depressed or unhappy in some area of your life, my initial goal is to help you gain a feeling of safety. I encourage clients to tell me their story to help them see things from a fresh perspective, improve self-awareness and provide practical solutions & treatments i.e EMDR.
I'm a client centered therapist who helps clients struggling withs : low self-esteem; anxiety; depression, abuse, grief, Post-Traumatic Stress, phobias, addiction, couple and family/parenting issues. My specialty is in treating trauma. I use a number of approaches such as CBT, solution focused approaches, stress management tools and recommended readings.
My goal is to help you feel comfortable and knowledgable about how I work so I offer a free 15 minute telephone consultation. During the consult, I invite you to ask me questions, tell me your reason for reaching out and how I can be of help. I'll also explain how I work & what I have to offer so you can make an informed choice before committing to a session
