I work with both youth and adults and have a genuine passion for supporting and guiding people through life’s challenges. My private practice has been open since 2019, and I have been a registered social worker since 1991. Since 2004, I have been working within Addiction and Mental Health Services, an experience that has allowed me to support individuals facing a wide range of emotional and life difficulties.
I have First nations cultural competency training and value working with perspectives that honour cultural knowledge and holistic wellbeing. I recognize that healing can take many forms and strive to respect each person’s experiences, beliefs, and personal strengths throughout the counselling process. (Covered by NIHB)
Depending on individual preferences, I may incorporate complementary practices such as grounding exercises, meditation and energy-centered techniques. These approaches can help support relaxation, increased self-awareness, and a greater sense of balance within the the therapeutic process.
