Life can challenge us in many ways. For example, the death of a loved one, peer pressure, relationship concerns or learning difficulties. In my practice I work collaboratively with my clients to help them develop skills to cope and adapt with the uncertainty that life can bring.
I offer 40 years of experience working with students ages 4 to 18 in the education system. I have spent the last 15 years as a school counsellor. I have developed skills as an assessor in areas such as ADHD. My counselling style encorporates person-centred and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT).
I enjoy meeting and working with clients of all ages. I strive to create a supportive, trusting and non- judgemental space. In this space, clients can work to identify and replace their irrational thoughts and beliefs which are often at the root of their maladaptive behaviour.
