I am able to provide behavioural as well as strength-based counselling for various social skills development in children and youth My activity-based learning introduces and reinforces the concepts in a non-threatening and engaging manner. I have over 40 years of experience with children and youth in school, group homes, and community settings.
I provide individual counselling sessions for the client. I can assist with such issues as anxiety, anger management, emotional regulation, problem-solving, friendship skills, bullying, self-esteem building, ADHD, cooperation and compliance, conversation skills, grief and bereavement, separation and divorce support.
I welcome children and youth with anxiety and help them understand the distorted thought patterns and replace them with more functional thoughts. I offer either in-person or virtual appointments.
