Welcome! I specialize in working with anxiety and mood disorders, PTSD, fears and phobias, traumatic brain injuries, and neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD and Autism.
My approach is trauma-informed and neuro-affirming, grounded in an understanding of how the nervous system and lived experiences shape emotional and behavioural responses. I specialize in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to gently process trauma, reduce emotional distress, and create lasting change. I also integrate DBT skills as a practical resource to help clients manage difficult emotions and navigate life’s challenges.
I have more than 20 years of experience in the field. I have worked in private practice counselling for several years. Furthermore, I have worked with autism and developmental disabilities, cancer counselling, adolescent and adult psychiatry units and emergency department mental health teams.
