Are you tired of feeling stuck? Are you ready for a new approach? The field of psychology has exploded with exciting approaches and new ways to help people. I am dedicated to lifelong learning have become proficient in new models of practice and ways of working with clients to help them to heal. While my training is on the leading edge of the field, I also have 15+ years’ experience and worked in many mental health settings. I specialize in working with anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, eating/body related issues, self-acceptance and addictions. I work with adults, youth, couples, parents and families.
When working with me, you are invited on a journey to explore your inner experiences, make sense of them and to heal wounds driving unhelpful thought/behaviour patterns. I have advanced training and I supervise new therapists. I love my work and I feel truly honoured to walk alongside my clients as they take courageous steps toward healing.
I have an empathetic, caring approach that helps clients to feel safe. I firmly believe that enhancing understanding of ourselves and owning our story helps us to unhook from shame and self-criticism and find healing in self-compassion.
