About
I am a therapist who is committed to helping individuals who may be struggling with eating disorders/disordered eating, body image, and perfectionism. These thoughts about food, weight, self-image etc., can be extremely overwhelming and hard to control. Together we can work to discover self compassion, food freedom, body acceptance and self confidence. I strongly feel that accessing proper support can make a huge difference, as it can be difficult to know where to start in your mental wellness journey.
I specialize in working with children/ teens struggling with eating disorders and working with their parents in supporting them through recovery using an FBT approach to care. Additionally, I support adults with eating disorders/disordered eating, anxiety, depression and perinatal mental health. I offer flexible and humanistic psychotherapy modalities.
My approach is calm, and collaborative and I believe firmly in the practice of working together with an individual to mitigate emotions, stressors and traumas through a lens of mindfulness as well as compassion while maintaining ones needs at the forefront of care by creating a therapeutic space of non-judgement. Accepting new clients (in person/virtually)!
