I work with a variety of clients, but particularly enjoy problems in which clients that have felt misunderstood or mistreated. This includes working with adolescents, parent-teen conflict, relationship difficulties in both individuals and couples, addictions, anger or anxiety management, trauma, and Borderline Personality Disorder. In many of the clients I see, fear and confusion are often barriers to a satisfying life. Healing often comes through gaining confidence in areas one can control.
I tend to be direct and to the point. I seek to change lives by changing perspectives. I look for reasons why you have the behavioural, emotional, relational struggles you have because they are all there for a reason. I place a high value on both emotional and rational ways of thinking about issues and teach people how to use both in positive ways.
