I specialize in intensive couple therapy to create safe, and secure-functioning relationships. I explore attachment styles (developed early in life) so that couples understand why they say and do the things they do. With my guidance, couples define mutually-shared agreements that will provide a framework for operating as a team. And with this shared vision, they can learn to successfully manage any disagreements or disappointments that life may bring. My goal is to help each couple feel they are safe and secure, in each other's care, no matter the issue. I am a Level 11 PACT therapist.

My weekly/bi-weekly sessions are typically 1.5 to 2-hours at a time. I also offer 3-day Couple Intensives (either individually or together with my wife, Louise Dorfman, MA, RP) . My approach works well if you have experienced constant arguing, infidelity and betrayal, a lack of physical or emotional intimacy, or just simply want to feel more connected.

Having worked with couples for over 25 years, I am convinced that a safe and secure relationship is the foundation for a full and happy life. It provides us with the energy we need to meet everyday challenges, whether they involve parenting, resolving family issues, negotiating workplace conflicts, or navigating in the community at large.
