My passion is the journey back to the authentic self - free, embodied, and full of life. My approach is informed by mindfulness, Buddhist psychology, and contemplative practices. The human journey includes painful experiences. There can be unbearable tension between the harsh limits of life and our deep longings for freedom, connection, and wellbeing. It was my own experiences of pain, confusion, disconnection, and feeling stuck that first led me to the world of the therapeutic process. There I discovered a sense of inner connection. When the mind, body, and spirit are in harmony there is a sense of inner space, ease, and trust.
The therapeutic relationship can be a gateway to experiences of connection and expression. It is my intention to create a space that is warm, respectful, and down-to-earth for this process to occur and for the client to experience an inner sense of being “at home” in the self no matter where they are.
I welcome people of all life stages, sexual orientations, genders, cultural backgrounds, faith traditions, and spiritual or non-spiritual inclinations – come as you are! You will be wholly accepted, and I will meet you with understanding and appreciation.
