Availability December 15th. Why do I do that? Wouldn’t it be helpful to know? What are the automatic thoughts, underlying feelings, or unconscious habits that keep moving life in a particular direction? Why are some relationship patterns so hard to break? Why do we find ourselves stuck in the same spot over and over again? Why do we sometimes go against our values? Why do we feel anxious and react? Why do we feel depressed and shutdown? Why do we hesitate to even ask questions like these?

I work with clients to cultivate a deep self-reflection with the capacity to explore such difficult questions. It is a gentle & patient process. This is the only way in. Our reaction to discomfort & pain is to fight against it and/or avoid it. This may be why we have waited so long to ask important questions like these. But some growth waits on us here.

I employ a psychodynamic approach to help raise client's awareness of underlying thoughts, feelings, and relationship dynamics. And a narrative approach helps clients to see who they are in life and to find their path forward.
