If you struggle with Trauma (PTSD, C-PTSD), ADHD, Anxiety (Generalized, Social, Panic disorder), Depression, Bipolar, Parenting, Job/boss issues, Perfectionism, Men's issues, Borderline, Anger issues, or Addiction, I'd like to help. I love to work with everyone! But I am especially experienced with men's issues, women's issues, teens/'tweens, and parenting/families. Further, as a former teacher, I'm intimately familiar with the struggles of both youth and teachers in today's confusing world.
Sometimes you just might want to talk-I'm a good listener! But I also love sharing evidence-based ways to help you right from the first session. I'm trained in several powerful therapies, incl. EMDR, Polyvagal, Cognitive & Dialectical Therapies (CBT, DBT), SFBT, Schema Therapy, and IFT; I'm also passionate about Music and Drama Therapy.
It can be tough looking for help to improve your life. I've been a client in therapy myself, and I know firsthand how difficult it can be to take that first step to contact someone. Some clients want a therapist who will take the lead and make recommendations, while some prefer a more egalitarian relationship: I'm very comfortable with both approaches.

There is so much power in therapeutic drumming! Its power is even recognized for its therapeutic benefits by non-musicians like world-renowned trauma expert Dr. Gabor Maté. You do not have to know anything about music or drums to take part in the joy of a therapeutic drumming group! You don't even have to own a drum, but feel free to bring your own if you have one. Drum groups can have 20+ participants, so feel free to invite a friend. Please message me for the next group time/place. Youth and Adult groups available.

On the surface, this group looks and feels like a typical D&D group, but there are subtle and important differences in the way it is run. David acts as both therapist and game master.
