My work with individuals and families began over twenty-five years ago. I have a Master of Divinity degree in Clinical Counselling. In addition to being a therapist, I am also a certified teacher in Ontario with a Specialist in Special Education. I bring compassion, calm, and wisdom to client sessions which provides a safe and supportive therapeutic setting for growth and healing.
A client-centred and integrative approach is used when I work with individuals, couples, and families. My clinical focus encompasses mood and anxiety disorders, family of origin issues, couple conflict, parenting challenges, life transitions, trauma and abuse, and emotional/relational distress.
My personal journey of healing has provided insight into the courage and commitment it takes for clients to engage in their own healing journey. I consider it a privilege to walk alongside clients as they work through difficult life situations and develop a deeper understanding of themselves.
