Life is often difficult and trying to navigate challenges alone can seem impossible. I offer a supportive and safe space to explore both personal and professional issues. My approach is compassionate and person-centred and I draw on 25 years experience in the counselling field where I have practiced as a counsellor and also taught in a master’s level counselling program at the university level. We will work together to create a new understanding of your life circumstances as we strive to achieve your counselling goals.
I use evidence based approaches including CBT, narrative, emotion focused, trauma informed, EMDR and somatic. This integrative approach to counselling supports you, as the client, in your unique context and understanding of the world. There is no one size fits all approach to therapy and my approach supports your unique needs.
Building on your inner strengths and capacity, we will work together to create a therapy plan to make meaningful change in your life. This process will have the possibility to offer positive life change and transformation in a compassionate and caring therapeutic space.
