With a compassionate therapist, you can be supported to be present to yourself and explore in a safe space what is happening and what is possible.
I offer an integrated approach to therapy incorporating expressive arts, compassion-focused therapy, mindfulness and trauma informed care. With a client-centered session, I follow what the client needs and finds engaging. Can be talk, art, play, movement, storytelling, poetry, mindfulness, cultivating compassion. Facilitated by creativity and curiosity.
I support clients to give a voice to their experience, strengthen their coping skills, and enhance their ability to be relational. Areas of practice with adults are life transitions (such as career and lifestyle changes, retirement, and relocation), stress/anxiety and loss/grief. I also work with youth over age 10 in the areas of self-esteem and bereavement.
