Compassionate and effective trauma, anxiety, PTSD, and loss therapy. I work with adults who have survived a trauma and/or loss and are ready to feel grounded and themselves again. My clients have thoughts like, "I should have done something different" or "I cannot handle my emotions." In our work together, you will feel less shame/guilt and can also begin exploring acceptance. Moreover, somewhere between two to six months of treatment, my clients feel more fulfilled and more in-control of their symptoms. I work with trauma from being a first responder, navigating divorce/separation, infertility, and death/loss.
I am a trauma-trained therapist with a warm approach. We will work towards lowering your anxiety, healing from past trauma(s), and processing traumas. We can work on increasing your ability to manage your symptoms. I use three treatments that are evidenced-based and highly effective - Cognitive Processing Therapy (for trauma), Informed-IFS, and CBT.
