I am a Registered Social Worker (RSW), Psychotherapist and Yoga Teacher. I have spent over 20 years working with adolescents and adults experiencing social, emotional and behavioral challenges. I work with people managing symptoms such as stress, anxiety, low self esteem and navigating life transitions and changes such as the transition from high school to post secondary education. I have a special interest in working with Teachers, Front-Line and First Responders workers navigating the impacts of work including stress and emotional impacts. I offer in-person, virtual and walk & talk sessions.
I am trained in Mindfulness Meditation and work with clients from a strength-based approach inspired by CBT. I am focused on building relationships and have a strong background in working with those who may reluctant to engage in the counselling process. I have spent a significant part of my career working alongside first responders and front-line workers.
