Hey, I’m Dani! Clients I work with are often struggling to hold the both-and of multiple intersectional identities. I work with couples and individuals. Some of my main areas of focus include 2SLGBTQ+ and gender diverse communities, sex and relationships (including ENM, poly, and kink), neurodiversity, abuse and trauma recovery, and high-control religious groups/religious deconstruction. Whatever you are carrying, I’m deeply committed to understanding your story, creating a plan together that works with your individual experience, and embracing the messy process of everything in-between.
Broadly, I work from a trauma-informed and feminist framework. This means I work to balance inherent power dynamics that exist in therapeutic spaces, as well as helping you get in touch with the wisdom that lives within your mind and body. The primary therapeutic modalities I use are Somatic, Narrative, & Internal Family Systems (IFS).
