I believe in gaining an understanding of where you are in an effort to help you get where you'd like to be. I believe that growth and change are possible with time, effort, and commitment. I am comfortable working with a variety of emotional and behavioural challenges and look forward to helping you reach your goals. I view counselling as an interactive and collaborative process that is based on your individual needs. I work with individuals suffering from depression, anxiety, adjustment disorder, OCD, relationship issues, life transitions, and Post Traumatic Stress. My approach is client-centered and cognitive behavioral based.
My primary goal is to develop a trusting and genuine relationship with my clients, where one feels safe to share their true thoughts and feelings, yet challenged to push themselves beyond their comfort zones. Altering thoughts and behaviours is not easy but will ultimately lead to a happier and healthier life.
