I do counselling different! My goal is to teach you logical steps to create change. I’m a big believer in bringing self-awareness to understand yourself and others in a different way. I use a unique framework derived from NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) that provides logical next steps to creating change. I am more about providing tools and tips to manage your life vs. spending the session just listening . I want your counselling experience to be engaging, rich with communication and provide you with concrete tools that you can practice at home. Inspiring you to make change is my one of my main goals!
I have been in the field since 2002 in a variety of settings that have enriched by experience and relatability. I have experience working with addictions, those suffering from overwhelm and burnout, stress and feeling a lack of purpose. I offer concrete strategies in each session to help you create change.
I also want you to feel comfortable and safe to talk about things that perhaps you have been keeping to yourself- because I want you to know that I can handle the big ugly stuff and not much may surprise me. I blend compassion, care, and humour with a genuine interest in your growth and development.

Online Personal Development Book Club
Starting January 1, 2022 Dana Cole will be offering an online personal development book club! There will be a variety of book themes such as relationships, money, setting boundaries, positive thinking, habit setting and personal growth. The group will meet the last Monday of each month from 7pm-9pm. The cost of the book club each month is $40 and you purchase the book at your own expense. Excited for you to be there!
