I am a registered social worker with over a decade of experience working alongside people navigating some of life's most challenging moments. Much of my work has focused on supporting people in working through their experiences of sexual assault/abuse, intimate partner violence, life transitions, and the impacts of navigating life in general.
My focus is on de-stigmatizing and de-pathologizing the adaptive ways people develop to survive the hard stuff, and support people in developing new resources and processing their experiences.
My approach has been described as warm, direct, eclectic, and collaborative. I have training in and incorporate various therapies developed to treat the impacts of trauma including EMDR and Internal Family Systems.
My aim as a clinician is to offer a non-judgmental space where you feel supported in (re)connecting with yourself and the life you want to live.
