I am an Edmonton based Registered Psychologist with over 14 years of experience in the field of addiction and mental health. I specialize in working with adults and teenagers (16+), and have had the privilege of walking alongside Client's in diverse settings with a wide range of psychological issues/concerns including addiction (substance abuse, gambling...), life transition, life skills, coping skills, existential/spiritual crises, personality disorders, emotional regulation, trauma, anxiety, and depression.
I employ a variety of therapeutic modalities and therapy methods (experiential activities, didactic) and tailor my approach to honour each Client's needs and worldview. I practice from a curious, collaborative framework and aim to create a supportive space where a balance between growth and acceptance are fostered.
Korean Speaking Clients are also welcome, however, it should be noted that although my comprehension of the Korean language is proficient - I respond in English (I am a second generation Korean Canadian). I also provide faith based/christian counselling upon request.
