Daisy Bai (She.her)
Counsellor, RCC, MCP, BSc, BA
I recognize your pain and strength, and I am here for you now. Through a holistic and compassionate stance, I provide trauma-informed relationship and mental health support for youth and adults of diverse cultural backgrounds. Bilingual in English and Mandarin, fluent in Japanese, my lived experiences in various countries across continents, have granted me a deep appreciation of cultural diversities. I am especially drawn to work with: Childhood trauma and PTSD, Blended or Divorced families, Cross-cultural relationships, LGBTQ, Immigrants, Burn-out stress, Anxiety and Depression, Polyamory, and Sexuality.
Yoga and neuropsychology have taught me that we are born with incredible body wisdom. My sessions bring focus on the mind-body-spirit connection to help clients establish a well-balanced, grounded, and conscious state of being. Corresponding to my values of social interest & justice, I also incorporate Adlerian and Feminist approaches to elicit empowerment.
I am a certified EMDR therapist. My clinical approach integrates eclectic frameworks of Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (CBT), Emotionally-Focused, Attachment, Feminist, and Adlerian Therapy. Elements that are unique to my healing practice involve Mindfulness, Reiki, and Therapeutic Yoga. I also offer seasonal Yoga and Meditation classes to small groups.
