If you are exploring finding a counsellor, chances are something in your life has caught your attention. Maybe its a large problem standing in your path, or maybe its a small itch that you notice has been bugging you for some time and isn't going away. Every one of us humans will encounter this at some point in our lives, and working with a counsellor is a great way to walk through these issues with some guidance. Whether it feels like a big issue or a small one, there's no shame in getting professional support. Trust me, everyone of us therapists have our own support systems we need to get us through challenges in life too.
In my work, I help people explore their problems to understand why they are occurring and help them develop the skills and tools needed to cope with challenges and make changes for the better. My biggest focus is helping people who are dealing with big, uncomfortable emotions learn how to calm them and work with them, in addition to many other issues.
