As a social worker for nearly 15 years, I have had the privilege to work alongside children, adolescents and their families in both government and community settings. Through this work, I have learned the significance of relationship and connection and hold these values closely. I practice from a trauma informed, strengths based approach and am passionate about supporting children and their families. I have experience working with individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, emotional relation, grief and loss, self-esteem, relationship struggles and parenting challenges.
Since all individuals are unique, interventions used in session are client and family centered. When working with adolescents and adults, I incorporate a variety of therapeutic strategies including CBT, DBT, ACT and solution focused therapy. In my work with children, I often utilize play based approaches, alongside other interventions.
I look forward to offering you a safe space and working together with you and your family to address concerns, strengthen coping skills and help you feel supported.
