In addition to running a clinic that treats OCD, Anxiety Disorders & Trauma, I offer Assessment & Diagnosis services for adults who wonder if they might have Autism, ADHD, Personality Disorders, or other conditions. Assessments are a powerful tool for self understanding. They are about taking all the information that we can gather about a person and distilling it down in way that makes sense of their struggles, connects them to communities of shared experience, and gives them a shot at getting evidence-based treatment matched to their conditions.
I believe assessing adults is its own specialty - adults are not just older children! My assessments and reports are geared toward the needs of adults, especially those who are often overlooked or misdiagnosed, such as women and gender & sexual minorities. I aim to collect great data and tell people’s stories using respectful language.
I have a down to earth style and I am particularly well suited for work with people who appreciate humour and directness while we get the job done.
