Shirley Katz, Ph.D., RP, is a Supervisor, University Instructor and Clinic Director who leans on 27 years experience to help ensure clients get to feel understood and respected, and benefit from therapy. She takes the time to answer inquiries. Note that we support LGBT2SQ+, teens, adults, relationships. A few of our therapists have in person offices and most offer video sessions. Our therapists work with compassion and cultural humility, collaborating on goals. With anxious and depressed clients, we draw from CBT/Mindfulness. With eating issues, the focus is emotions that have gone underground. Systemic, attachment focused and EFT methods are used with relationship issues as well as teaching boundaries, assertiveness, communication.

Groups
Online Clinical Group Supervision
Providing group supervision for professionals and graduate students. Current groups that may have space are varied. Currently Wednesday 12:30 to 2:30. Groups are focused on safety, respect and growing the therapists' own competence and confidence, not on giving advice or tools unless they are asked for.

Eating Disorders Consultation and Supervision
This is a consultation group for therapists working with clients with disordered eating and body image. It takes place one per month and counts towards supervision requirements for members of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. It takes place online on Monday evenings once per month. Please email if interested as we have ongoing intake.

Online Eating Issues Supervision Group
This is a small learning group for practitioners working with disordered eating, body image, etc. We welcome therapists who are trained in Social Work, Nursing, Occupational Therapy etc. The supervisor meets the qualifications for CRPO.
