My patients come to me because they struggle or are distressed. They struggle to find meaningful solutions to problems in their life or the life of their child. Included are stress or trauma, learning and school-related concerns, depression, anxiety, coping, and relationship problems. The distress people experience is often compound by the fact that my patients are usually competent in several aspects of life, but have yet to find a way through the current difficulty. Treatment often combines one's competence with therapy to resolve or at least help manage the challenges a person faces.
Children and adults are seen. Cognitive Behavioural (CBT), family, and marital, treatment approaches, tempered by over 40 years of experience, are tailored to your needs in a manner that focuses on your concerns and helps meet your goals.
With over 11 years working for the TDSB, I also offer psychoeducational assessments.
