My experience includes working with, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, anger management, and crisis. I have specialized training and professional experience working with first responders, the LGBT+ community, maternal mental health- fertility and birth trauma, sex workers and victims of human trafficking.
Through an anti-oppressive and trauma informed approach, I support clients to explore past challenges and embark on personal change. I utilize a number of approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD (CPT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy.
I strive to have a deep understanding of my clients and believe in meeting the client where they are in order to move forward, while recognizing that each client’s experiences differ based on their needs. I prioritize the therapeutic relationship with all my clients and am committed to creating an environment that meets the client’s unique need
