I work with kids, couples, and individuals to help them find their way through the often messy parts of life. I have a special interest in blended family dynamics (particularly the often challenging area of step-parenting) and the impact addiction has on families, both informed by my own lived experience. Whether I am helping parents balance attachment with clear limits and expectations, or helping couples break out of the unhelpful patterns we all fall into, my goal is to help you build a life and relationships that are truly in line with your values and feel right for you
My practice is flexible and draws from a mix of tools—including Brainspotting, CBT, DBT, Narrative therapy, and Compassionate Inquiry—to help move past the points where you feel most stuck. My practice is part time (two evenings a week), clients who would like to continue after their first session are seen weekly or biweekly depending on availability.
The attentive listening, empathy and feedback that are part of the therapy process can help reduce feelings of isolation, connect us to inner resources and lead to meaningful change. I believe people connect through laughter, and humour is often a part of my practice. I currently have availability Tuesday and Wednesday evening.
