About
Counselling Bruce County provides in-person counselling and psychotherapy sessions accessible for residents of Port Elgin, Southhampton, Kincardine and all of Bruce County. Virtual (online video) and phone sessions are available from the comfort of your own home across Ontario! Coverage for therapy sessions is available with most insurance plans - just ask your provider if they cover MSW Social Work or RP Psychotherapist. We are a multi-therapist clinic, and guarantee there is a therapist to suit your specific need. All ages welcome! Bruce Power employees are covered! We specialize in children, teens and adults.
We work with clients in addressing areas of life from a “whole body” perspective. Our areas of speciality include depression, anxiety, grief, self-compassion, self-harming behaviours; family relationships (including healthy boundaries), teenage development, work-life balance; behavioural concerns; couple's counselling and trauma.
No matter your reason for reaching out for support, you should be proud of the fact that you are strong enough to seek support at this time. Whether you need a direct, yet compassionate approach with little "nudge" or "real talk"; or whether need a therapist who is more soft-spoken and patient; there is a therapist who is right for you! Let us know!
