I work closely with clients to honour and validate their goals for therapy and work collaboratively to create a treatment plan that works towards the clients unique goals. I work to ensure my clients feel heard and validated. I work to treat every client with equality and respect. I always honour that the client is the expert of their own life and or relationship.
I have specialities in trauma and attachment, maintain a trauma and family systems informed lens. I incorporate multiple models of therapy depending on what is a good fit for the client. I have training in trauma models including EMDR, IFS, and parts work. I have written my own children's book: Ellie's emotional adventure, sold on amazon.
I work to approach every client with humility and empathy. We all have our own journeys which look different for each one of us. I appreciate the opportunity to build trust and rapport clients to help them walk their own path while I hold a flashlight and offer support through the milestones.
