I am a Registered Counselling Therapist in Nova Scotia. I provide counselling to individuals and couples primarily in the areas of anxiety and stress management, relationship issues, sexuality, trauma and personal growth and wellness. I also work with clients involved in work conflict and disputes.
My therapeutic approach is cognitive-behavioural and solution focused. I facilitate goal setting and help clients to develop and engage in strategies for change. I am trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy-primarily used in couples counselling. I work hard to provide a genuine client-therapist relationship that is collaborative, respectful and empathic.
