Accepting new clients, my credentials are in part scholastic however, my approach stems from the practice of doing my own healing work. Parents cannot take their children past the point of their own level of maturity. The same applies in therapeutic practice, walk the talk! Thus, presence in therapeutic relationships is the basis to addressing issues with addictions, anxiety, relationships that drive you crazy, anger, cultural issues, career issues and simply letting go of what does not work in your life. The many aspects of addictions, co-dependencies, abuse, unresolved trauma, racism, sexism can be resolved through therapeutic counselling transforming burdens of guilt, shame & pain into “gifts” that are conducive to freedom to be who you really are.
My formative years instilled in me values and beliefs that did not work at midlife. Tearing down and rebuilding has been painful however, greatly gratifying and rewarding.
