You deserve to live with grounded confidence and the freedom to be your authentic self. If you're feeling challenged by stress, identity, relationships, or the pressure of external expectations, I am here to help. As a queer Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), I use evidence-based interventions to help you discover your unique sense of self and build a personal mental health 'tool kit' to help you navigate life's challenges. Overall, my clients gain increased psychological resiliency, boost their self-direction, and decrease the desire to please others at their own expense.
My specialty is helping the LGBTQ+ community navigate identity, anxiety, depression, stress & relationships. I work from a trauma-informed, Person-Centered framework, believing in your inherent desire for growth. I integrate evidence-based approaches (CBT, ACT, DBT & others) tailored to your needs so we can strengthen your path to authentic fulfillment.
It takes immense courage to seek support and put yourself first, which is why I am completely committed to the therapeutic relationship. I believe a warm, unconditional, trusting, and supportive foundation forms the basis for all change. I look forward to learning more about your unique desires for therapy and the powerful work we can do together.

I specialize my work with LGBTQ2S clients and the unique mental health challenges we face as a community. Many clients start working with me because they're struggling with feelings of anxiety or depression, or just feeling stuck in life. First sessions are focused on your acute concerns. Most of clients see a gradual lifting of symptoms within the first month, and sustained improvement onwards.

I ground myself in a Person-Centered framework with a trauma informed approach - meaning YOU come first, awlays. Through our work together you will begin to clarify your true self from the self others want you to be. In your first session, we'll explore what brought you to therapy and explore the outcomes you hope to see. I also draw upon CBT, ACT, and DBT approaches; and EMDR for trauma therapy.
