As a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist my goal is to help you gain insight to how your emotions influence your thought process. By helping you identify issues that are causing you conflict we then can work on formulating solutions. With this understanding we then can focus on changing maladaptive behaviours to more positive ones. The goal of CBT is to teach you strategies so that you can move forward in your life. CBT is effective with adults and children. We all have the ability to change things in our lives, we just need to take the first steps.
I am Registered with the College of Psychotherapists. I have a Masters Degree in Psychology, Certified in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and am a Clinical Traumatologist. Experienced working with both children and adults. Specializing in Trauma Care and Trauma Recovery.
Psychological Assessments: Extensive testing to help identify deficits in Short-Term Memory, Visual Perception, Auditory Procession, Non-Verbal Intelligence, Phonetic Placement, Psycho Educational Assessments and Behavioural Assessments. These assessments are invaluable for individuals with any type of Cognitive Impairments such as Brain Injury, Autism, Stroke victims, Dementia etc.

Gottman Couples Counselling
Gottman Couples therapy has been scientifically proven to help couples increase their communication skills. This group will focus on developing a number of techniques that you will be able to apply to your relationship. We will be offering group sessions through video counselling at present due to the pandemic.
