My philosophy on which I base my practice is that it is through relationship we both wound and heal. I believe the relationship formed in counseling is one of combined expertise, you as the expert on your life, and the expertise I can provide because of my training as a clinical social worker. In our work together, your goals to resolve presenting issues will be our focus. Ultimately, I would like to accompany you on your journey toward health, wholeness and healing in your life. I am currently accepting new clients.
I have completed training in CBT, DBT, grief specialization, adult attachment theory and have completed EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), which is an integrative psychotherapy approach. I have worked with students in the elementary and secondary panels providing behavioural supports and social interventions.
All of us experience periods in our lives where we need the help and support of others to resolve difficulties.
