Anxiety, stress, anger, fear, grief, and depression show up differently for everyone. You might be feeling overwhelmed or isolated, unsure of where to start. Your self-talk might be very negative even if you're "doing great" on paper. You might be avoiding people and places, or struggling with conflict or big life changes. I also work with people who are having a complicated relationship with their body - maybe it's due to a medical condition, insomnia, struggling with eating, or trying to follow health advice that involves hard changes. Maybe your loved one is unwell and you're trying to provide support but keep yourself together.
I help people build their skills and self-awareness in order to change unhelpful cycles. I worked in Ottawa, Yukon, Calgary, and Vancouver at diabetes, cardiac rehab, heart transplant, and mental health clinics. I've also been a health entrepreneur co-founder for 20 years and understand the high's and low's of carrying a high level of responsibility.
I am honoured to do the work I do, supporting people to live with agency, autonomy, and connection. Working with people ranging in age from young adults to 80+ has been a huge gift in understanding just how short life is. You deserve to be heard, and to feel better.
