Hi there! Are you contemplating hiring a therapist? You're probably suffering and wondering who to trust. I get that, and I've been there too. When I look for a therapist, I want to make sure that they believe in their approach, and that there's a strong evidence-basis for it. That's true for my approaches - and they're an integral part of my life now too since finding them. I'm happy to share as we get aware, mindful, self-compassionate, values-connected, and committed to a life that matters.
I bring third-wave cognitive-behavioural therapies and evidence-based approaches such as: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Compassion-Focused Therapy, and Nature Therapy based interventions. I also lean into knowledge and recommendations of behavioural health for overall wellness - taking seriously the mind-body connection.
I've been in your shoes too, it's hard to know which therapist is the right fit, and truly not every therapist is.
