Hi there - I’m so glad you’re here. Asking for help can be one of the hardest things to do.
I'm Colette, a Métis woman (pronouns are she/her). I have a profound passion for relationships and the systems that influence our identities.
Whether working with families, couples, children, adolescents, or individuals, I focus on Attachment Theory, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Strategic Family Therapy and Internal Family Systems theory. I am curious and compassionate., I ask the hard questions in the gentlest way possible and will shed a tear with you.
My approach is deeply rooted in anti-oppression and trauma-informed practices. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in English and Indigenous Studies from the University of Manitoba and am currently completing a Master of Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of Winnipeg.
I believe that “there is more that connects us as human beings than divides us.” You will find a warm and deeply caring environment in my therapy sessions.
