It isn't easy to find a therapist that is a good fit. A connection is important to establish that feeling of safety so you can share and truly be yourself. If you are here looking for a therapist to "vibe" with, I commend you. That's a vital step to your healing. So here's my shtick! Developing strong and healthy relationships is my priority and passion, including the therapeutic relationship we build together. I have an extensive background working with youth, but also specialize in religious/spiritual trauma, gender and sexual identities, attachment, and anxiety or depression.
As a therapist, I work from various therapeutic orientations but definitely have some favourites. Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) have been successful with clients, but if an approach isn't resonating with you we will pivot to something else. Whatever your goal, we will work towards it together.
