I help men and women dealing with stress, anxiety, past trauma or abuse, and relationship difficulties understand the problems in their life, find ways to move forward and find peace. If you often feel overwhelmed or irritable in your daily life, or like your emotions are always simmering just below the surface or spilling over, I can help. I am a therapist at North Counselling and Psychotherapy, a group of Registered Social Workers/Psychotherapists who provide counselling services to adults and children in London, ON.
I use a number of different evidence based approaches in counselling, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. I specialize in helping people who have experienced traumatic events and are experiencing difficulties with their emotions.
Together, we can find ways of understanding and expressing your emotions that helps you to feel more confidence and trust within yourself. We can work together to process your past trauma and live in a new way, now.
