I am a Registered Social Worker and Certified Health and Life coach. Karah Kirkland is an experienced Social Worker ( 30 yrs -BSW,. MSW.,) who has been trained in/practices: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT Couples) and other relaxation based modalities. Karah has had the privilege of working in various sectors of social work including : child welfare, developmental disabilities, ASD, children/adolescent/adult mental health, community / medical (Family Health Team) and private therapy. Karah loves to meet new clients for what she can learn from them and she loves to see clients gain insight and grow.

Most of us want the same things in life- purposeful living, harmonious relationships, peace. We want a sense of love and belonging. We want to be happy. Choices, transitions and challenges in life can be hard to navigate on our own but there are peaceful resolutions and ways to overcome our internal blocks and core beliefs, our over- thinking and self esteem. We are all capable of self- healing especially when we activate our powerful subconscious using theta healing and hypnosis.

Life is nothing short of amazing. It's amazing how much we can go through and live to tell about it. It's amazing how fast kids grow up and time flies, how angry a co-worker can make you, how much compassion we can seem to have for others when we struggle to offer any to ourselves. It's amazing how much we put on our plates when all we need is to rest. It's amazing how much we can long for understanding and connection and how much opportunity can be missed right in front of our eyes. It's amazing how short life is. It's also amazing how much we can learn in the time we have, and how little steps can amount to such massive change.

I am a Registered Social Worker working with individuals and couples who are looking for guidance in bettering their mental health and well-being in all aspects of life. Specialized Trauma Counseling including helping First Responders, Veterans and more serious issues in Trauma.
