Hello! My name is Susan. I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor offering therapy in BC and across Canada. I specialize in helping adults address trauma, challenging relationships, substance use, depression, and anxiety. My approach is characterized by warmth, compassion, non-judgment, and collaboration. I am trained in a variety of approaches, including CPT: a proven, evidence-based therapy that can help you recover from trauma in as few as 10 sessions. With many years of experience in clinical therapy within diverse mental health and substance use settings, you can feel comfortable discussing any concern with me.
I customize my methods to meet your unique needs, drawing from my training in Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD; Narrative Therapy; CBT; and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I also provide assessment, mental health and substance use system navigation, clinical supervision for counsellors, and consultations for families, individuals, and organizations.
