I work with adults from all walks of life at Tapestry Counselling Centre. It is my honor to help you move through and heal from trauma, past childhood abuse, depression, anxiety, grief and loss. To begin, together we will clarify your needs and goals. I will help you work through relationship challenges, grow in self-esteem and self-worth, build your understanding of yourself and your identity, as well as thrive in the midst of life's transitions. I see this work as sacred because I acknowledge how vulnerable counselling is. I aim to hear and see 'the real you' and to help you bring meaningful change to your life.
I work from a lens that puts you at the centre of the frame. I will hear you, be gently curious, validate your feelings and offer you helpful tools. I have specialized training in helping people heal from past childhood abuse, as well as in meeting the healing needs specific to First Responders.
